Waterproofing Services
Exterior waterproofing System
Installing an exterior drainage system at an existing building is the most costly, but also the most effective water control approach. This requires digging up the area around the foundation and rebuilding it similar to a new house installation. It also requires digging up shrubs and other obstacles around the house.
American Structure Repair recommends waterproofing and insulation are installed at the same time, in addition to making any repairs to the structure. The traditional exterior drainage system uses pea gravel or washed rock for the backfill. Our drainage pipe will be set 12 inches below footer depth and will be placed beside of the footing.
Our method of waterprofing the exterior does not consist of a Spray Adhesive nor a tar application, we have evolved over the years and learned that those applications often fail due to soil expansion and structure settlement. Eventually cracking with it’s surface and allowing moisture to seep in your home.
