All of our custom made seamless gutter systems gutters are installed with a hidden hanger system. These rain carrying systems are available in a number of colors to perfectly match the style and color of your property. Our gutters systems come in standard 5 inch or 6 inch over-sized channels and you can order your gutter system with 4 inch or 5 inch down spouts. We can also install gutter screens to existing gutter systems.

Downspout Drainage

This is so important - Moving water where it can flow to a safe spot.  Take a few minutes and observe how the water flows from your gutter system.  Many times we find that by simply extending a downspout a few feet will cause water to flow away, rather than towards your crawl space or home's foundation.  Check for leaks, check the fittings on your gutter system.
Obviously, water flows to the point of least resistance.  If you find that it is impractical or for a variety of reasons impossible to redirect the flow of water then call the professionals at American Structure Repair. We are here to help.

Tired of cleaning out your gutters, worry no more

Like any other part of your home, your gutters need to be maintained to function properly. Leaves and debris can build up in your gutters clogging the downspout and restricting the flow of water. When the water cannot drain properly, it backs up into the trough causing the gutters overflow. Overflow can lead to water seeping behind the gutter and rotting the fascia. The standing water that remains also creates a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. Gutter guards can be added to your gutter system to keep large leaves and debris out in order to prevent clogging and reduce maintenance. Without gutter guards, it is recommended that your gutters be cleaned out 1-3 times a year depending on the number of trees surrounding your home. With gutter guards, it is still recommended to clean out your gutters once a year which could be as simple as using a power washer to spray loose small debris and wash down the downspout.

 

 

 

 

 

There are a number of gutter guards to choose from. Some are screens and some are solid covers that use perforations and/or surface tension to pull rain water in while keeping out large leaves and debris.

 

You Can Test This Theory Yourself!

To test surface tension for yourself, slowly tip a full glass of water. The water will run down the side of the glass and drip off the bottom rather than pour out in a stream as if it were coming from a pitcher's spout.
